Another Week In Paradise (Not Really)

Well its been an up and down week and an 'Emotional Rollercoaster'. This is what I've been doing this past week:

Monday: I had to work today. I worked the normal hours of 0500-1730. It was a good day. After work I went to TGI Fridays and met a new friend. His name is Fulvio. He works at the bar at TGI's on Gricignano NSA. He is really nice. After he got off work we went to the Coffee Bar and had a couple of Capochinos. After that I went home and went to bed.

Tuesday: I had to work today. It wasnt the best of days though. I had a few problems at work. Nothing really went right today. I got off at 1730 and went home and changed clothes and went to TGI's again. Fulvio was working again and he got off at 2000. After he got off we went back to his house in Licola. He changed clothes and showered and we went to pick up his girlfriend Sylvia. She is really nice. She taught me a lil bit of Italian. I'm trying to learn the language here so I can talk to the local people here. Anyways...we went driving around looking at some places and then we went to a club called "Drydock" which is in Licola. I had a lot of fun there. I got back on base at around 0430 Wednesday morning. 24 hours without sleep kinda takes a lot out of ya but I was aight I guess.

Wednesday: I was off today so I got up at 1130 and went out shopping with my friend Cara. We went to Ipercoop which is like a mall with a Super Wal-Mart in it. I bought me an outfit and some shoes. I'll put up a picture of me when I wear the outfit. I really do like it. I ate at a McDonalds (the first time since I've been here). That might not sound like a big deal to people in the States but it is to a person that doesnt see one everyday. I came back on base and hung out in my room for the rest of the day.

Thursday: I was off again today, but had to go to a gun shoot this morning at Capodichino. I shot the M-16 and the shotgun. I shot a 155/200 on the M-16 which was 1 point away from sharpsooter. I was sooo mad but better luck next time. You can't really get a score on the shotgun. I came back on base and I was suppose to hang out with Fulvio but he had to take his car to the mechanic and he didnt get it back till Friday so I just chilled on base for the rest of the day.

Friday: I had to work today. The day went by really fast but not without some bad points. I try to avoid certain people at work and I've come to a decision not to have a "friendship" with Security Personnel E-5 and above. I will just have a working relationship and thats about it. I believe that is for the best.

Well thats about it for now. I will try to take some pictures of Fulvio and Sylvia and put them up on my site. Also, when I first started this blog, I said that I would put up pictures of my friends back home. I need to go scan some and put them up. Below is something I found and I liked so decided to put up here on this site. Its something that makes real good sense. I will close this blog for now. If you wanna get in touch with me, my Yahoo IM SN is : ecko_197 My AOL IM SN is: eckoboi197. Email me at: navymaahall@yahoo.com
Until next time, Ciao bellos and bellas!

Oh...I almost forgot...HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY ASKIA!!!! :-)

A THEORY I'VE TO BELIEVE IN:

This is my theory about love. We're all like little puzzles, looking for missing pieces. Some of those pieces you find easy - your parents, brothers and sisters, friends, etc. But there's one piece that you have a hard time finding....one piece that you can't find on your own. And when you find the person who has that piece last, crucial piece, you know, because it clicks...it fits in. No matter what happens, no one else can fill that piece the same way that person can. Other people might seem to fit, but they're too big...or too small...or they have funny shapes. So when you find your piece...when you find that person who completes the puzzle and makes you whole...make sure you hang onto them....no one else will fit as well.

Sorry Its Been So Long

Sorry its been so long since I've been on here but I've been real busy and all with work. Anyways...can you believe that Christmas is almost here? I can't. 2003 has been a year with the good and the bad. Some of the good things that happend this year is that I joined the U.S. Navy. I believe that is the best choice I made ever. This has helped me overcome a lot of the bad things that happend this year. I wont say any of the bad things that happend. Some people know of the bad experiences that I've had but if you really wanna know, I'll tell ya. Anyways...I guess I will knock off for now. Until next time.......Ciao!!
